NASCAR: Las Vegas Preview

History could be made at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as NASCAR continues their west coast swing with our first tradition 1.5-mile track race of the season. The history? Christopher Bell winning his fourth race in a row to kick off the 2025 season.

Bell is no shy favorite this weekend either, as he has statistically been one of the best drivers in Vegas over the last handful of years. Other drivers will certainly have a say regarding his potential achievement, starting with Spire Motorsports driver Michael McDowell. Spire has qualified very well lately and so has the veteran McDowell, picking up right where he left off a season ago scoring six poles for Front Row Motorsports.

Behind the No. 71 are Penske teammates Joey Logano and Austin Cindric. Logano has had great success in Vegas over the course of his career, especially a season ago where he punched his ticket into the championship round my saving enough fuel to get the job done. Their teammate Ryan Blaney crashed in practice, but is still expected to be strong.

Kyle Busch has had a great start to the year and starts fourth at his home track, with Erik Jones right behind him in the fifth position. Alex Bowman, another former winner of this race, starts sixth.

Josh Berry is also someone to watch, starting seventh at a track he won at in the Xfinity Series just a few years ago, after a fantastic run at Phoenix.

Other favorites include Kyle Larson, Tyler Reddick, Chase Elliott, and Denny Hamlin.

The Pennzoil 400 gets underway at 3:30PM ET, live on FS1.
